Our Order My Steps HIV/AIDS Ministry (OMS) was created to focus upon those who are infected or affected by the disease. Order My Steps is one of the oldest church driven ministries in the city of Riviera Beach and Palm Beach County. Key aspects of the ministry are education and prevention, and knowing one’s status via testing. The Ministry seeks to foster hope and wholeness to those who are challenged by the disease. Our focus in on living!
The Mission of J.A.M.M. is to bring churched as well as unchurched youth from the community to a safe and nurturing environment to enjoy, food, fun, fellowship and the Gospel of Jesus Christ “REMIXED” for their context. Trained Youth Leaders provide age appropriate activities that include workshops, teen forums, life-skill lessons, sport competitions, speakers, homework assistance and creative expression. The program provides age appropriate activities for individuals who are ages 3 through 18.
The A.R.M.Y.* (*Anointed Radical Mighty Youth) Youth Church encourages explosive ministry, worship, evangelism and outreach as our youth give expression to their faith. Our mission is, “Equipping youth for a lifestyle of service to God, family and their community.” The leaders collectively offer a disciplined, biblio-centric, relevant and contemporary paradigm for the Youth Church and the Youth Ministry.
The Wisdom Ministry affords Saint James Church the opportunity to remain in contact with our superannuated (senior members). The Wisdom Ministry bridges teaching, training, and the disclosure of pertinent information to our senior members, via partnering with outside service agencies. Some of the efforts include providing free electronic devices, advice and linkage services related to health care and health care programs, wellness issues, complementary food, celebration of life achievements, and naturally whole hearted fellowship.
The Doctor A. H. Locket Scholarship Ministry was established by the current Pastor, Doctor Tony F. Drayton in honor of Saint James Church’s founding Pastor, Doctor A. H. Lockett. The Scholarship Ministry acknowledges the graduates of Saint James Church. When funding allows, the Ministry opens for applicants across Palm Beach County to assist in their academic pursuit.
The Mighty Men Mentoring Ministry (MMM) is faith-based and designed to focus on attitudes, academics, arts, and athletics. The Mighty Men Ministry consists of group mentoring that, at moments, offers individual coaching/mentoring for young men from the ages of six (6) to eighteen (18). The MMM seeks to build character, confidence, integrity, and skill sets that are transferable to multiple life situations. The Mighty Men Mentoring Ministry is open to the community.
Come Get Some is a Social Media Ministry of Saint James Church. The Come Get Some Ministry (CGS) is to respond to the Social Media demands while addressing the relevancy of the Church, in this Post Modern Era, as we remain committed to the Great Commission of spreading the Good – News throughout the world. The CGS Social Media Ministry uses a vast number of electronic resources to achieve this goal.
The Financial Planning Ministry, our most recent Ministry, is a Christian Stewardship based ministry entrusted to duly financially credentialed individuals. The purpose of the Ministry is to bring further awareness to stewardship and financial accountability while honoring Biblical Principles. The Ministry engages in group as well as individual private sessions, workshops and classes. The Ministry leaders are replete with the resources for advising and establishing family and individual budgets, insurance programs, savings, retirements, investments, emergency funds and the like. If we do not produce a particular, then we will link individuals to other avenues so they may receive whatever service is required. One of the Ministry’s predominant goals is to prepare individuals for homeownership qualification status. The Ministry is open to the community.
